Nike Real Run 2004 (10 km)
This was my very first run in public running event, since then running is my passion.
Before this run, I had never ran more than 5 km in my training. I did my two almost actual race route familiarization two weekends just before the actual race. Have completed my maiden run in 60 minutes (speed was 10 km/h or pace 6 minutes). The hardest part was the ran across about 3 km sand beach.
The hiccups were the paper-based race BIB torn after it got wet after 5 km run and need to held it in the hand and the collection of certificate of achievement for almost an hour.
